Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress who is best recognized for her roles in the films Beta Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Koun. Her first fame was the role she played in the 1980s film Tezaab and Tezaab, which she co-starred with veteran actor Anil Koopor. Then she appeared in the film Dil where she starred alongside Aamir Khan. In her early years, the Mumbai-born dancer began developing her skills at a young age. At the age of 15 when she began to act, she had a difficult time as a majority of her movies were unsuccessful. Then she found her way to success and then became one of the top actresses in the Indian film industry. Following her wedding ceremony, she took a brief time off from her acting career until she returned. Dixit played an important role in Gulaab Gang, a film focused on women's struggles in India. Dixit is nominated to win the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she was awarded eight. Padma Shri - the fourth highest civilian honor in India awarded to Dixit. Her social work is also well-known.
