April Lockhart

April Lockhart is a born July 4th in 1995. As a seventh-grade student she began taking piano and guitar lessons. That ignited her enthusiasm for songwriting. At the age of seven April started taking piano and guitar lessons. The lessons sparked her passion to write songs. When she was 14, April devoted much of her time singing and writing songs. Then, in the following months, April began to go on trips with her dad as well as write her songs either in NY and LA. April was also able to add other themes in the track "Take My Hand" for a few of her the friends she had who struggled with problems like peer pressure, disabilities, and even teenage suicide. Lockhart is a well-known lifestyle influencer, as well as being a partner with clean beauty brands Ilia, has built her own following. She was born without her left hand and that is part of her story, but it's hardly her whole story. Lockhart does not deny that she has a disability in her posts on Instagram, however she isn't making it the focal point of the post. The point? We are all more than our physical selves. The identities we have are complex and we contain many different elements. Lockhart tells Lockhart via video "I am not convinced that my physical appearance should define my character. My goal is not to have an impact on disability, because I've plenty to offer." However, it doesn't affect my daily routine. I do the normal things and I've adapted to my disabilities. However, it's a component of me and I feel that it's crucial to speak about. Her journey to self-acceptance is one that will last a lifetime, but she can be a role model with regard to this. Lockhart admits to having been through times when she felt uncomfortable in the way she dressed and showed her arms. She wears what she likes and posts photos of herself in the outfits she wears on social media. It's all a process is the most important thing. I don't know that you ever arrive she says about self-love. But, this isn't common for anyone with doubts. It's my opinion that having those around you who really are aware of you and know the depths of your soul is vital as they'll be the ones who remind you What are you worried about?
